Marketing

Fill the quiet days, with the customers you already have.

Send an email or a text with an offer on it, offer a cancelled time to the people most likely to take it, and let the rebooking nudge and the birthday email go by themselves. Each one shows what it booked, and none of it takes a cut.

  • Emails and texts to your own customers
  • Every one shows what it booked
  • No commission, ever

Marketing is an add-on to Pro: £9.99 a month for your whole shop, however many people work there. Free to start: 20 bookings a month, no card.

A space has come upnow

Tuesday at 2:00pm with Jo. Book it before someone else does.

What it does

Everything you need to bring them back.

Your customers already know you. Tell them about a quiet day, an offer or a time that has come free, and see who books.

Emails with an offer on them

Reach everyone with an email, people who haven't been in for a while, recent visitors or anyone who had a particular service. Put a discount code on it, and see the email as your customer will before it goes.
The email editor: who it reaches with a live count, the subject and message, an offer, and the email as the customer will see it beside them

Texts as well

The same message by text, to everyone with a UK mobile who hasn't stopped your offers. You see the exact cost before it goes.

Fill the gap

When a booking is cancelled, the freed time can be offered by email to the waiting list, to anyone who has had that service, or to recent customers, whichever you pick. The Book button opens your page with the day, person and service already picked.

Rebooking and birthdays, by themselves

The rebooking nudge brings back a customer who is due, with an offer on it if you like. The birthday email goes out on the morning of theirs, once a year. Each shows what it brought in.

£9.99

A month, for the whole shop.

However many people work there, on top of Pro. Stop it whenever you like and the unused days come off your next bill. Never a cut of a booking. Not yet on a Pro plan bought in the App Store or Google Play.

A way out on every message

Every email and text ends with a one-tap link to stop your offers, with no login, and nobody who stops is sent another. Confirmations and reminders carry on as normal.

Your wording on every email

Confirmations, reminders and the thank-you can carry your own wording, logo and shop photo.

What it brought in

Know what to send again.

Each message counts the bookings that came through its own Book button, so you can see what worked and do more of it, instead of guessing.

Sent
How many went, and how many could not be sent.
Booked
The bookings made through its Book button.
Worth
What those bookings come to, at their price.

And there's more

More ways to bring them back.

The marketing add-on sits on top of these. Each one says which plan it is on.

  1. 01Reminders by email and text

A confirmation email when they book, and a reminder before the day with a link to move or cancel. Reminders go by email on every plan, and by text as well on Pro.

  2. 02Discount codes and offers

A code for a quiet week, a first visit or your regulars, and an offer across the top of your booking page. Customers see the new price before they pay. On Pro.

  3. 03Gift vouchers and packages

Sell vouchers for an amount or a service, and blocks of sessions for one price. Both bring people back, and both are spent when they book. On Pro.

  4. 04A review, asked for

The day after a visit, one email asks how it was, with your Google review link. Never for a no-show or a cancelled booking, and never twice. On every plan.

  5. 05Everything you know about a customer

Each customer has a profile with their visits, spend, notes, forms and photos, so what you send goes to somebody you know. On every plan.

  6. 06A page in your own colours

Your Book button lands on a booking page with your name, logo and colours on it, not on somebody else's marketplace.

FAQs

Common questions

The things people ask about marketing before they sign up.

Something else on your mind? Ask us.

Do I need Pro to use marketing?

Yes. Marketing is an add-on to Pro: £9.99 a month for the whole shop on top of your Pro plan, however many people work there. You can stop it whenever you like, and what you sent stays on record.

Who can I email or text?

Your own customers. Everyone with an email on their record, people who haven't been in for a while and have nothing booked, people who came recently, or anyone who had a particular service. A text goes to people with a UK mobile on their record. Anyone who has stopped your offers is left out, and the page says how many each choice reaches before you send.

Can customers say they don't want these?

Yes. Every email and text has a link that stops your offers in one tap, with no login, and nobody who has stopped is sent another. Booking confirmations and reminders are not offers and still go as normal.

How much do texts cost?

A text comes out of the 50 a month each person on Pro has, then out of any text packs you have bought: 100 for £5, 500 for £22.50 or 1,000 for £40. Before you send, the page shows the exact cost, and it won't send if you are short.

Can I see what a message brought in?

Yes. Each one shows how many were sent, how many people booked through its Book button, and what those bookings are worth at their price. The rebooking nudge and the birthday email show theirs too.

Does anything send without me pressing Send?

Only two things go by themselves. The rebooking nudge, for customers who are due back, already goes out on every plan in standard words, and with marketing it can carry your own words and an offer. The birthday email is a switch you choose to turn on. Campaigns and Fill the gap go only when you send them, and it asks once before it does.

Can I do it from the app?

You write and send on the website, which works fine in a phone's browser. The FullDiary app does not have the marketing editor yet.
