Online booking system for mobile valeters

The simple booking system for mobile valeters.

Customers book the valet and the address arrives with it, and on Pro so does your charge for the miles. Deposits hold the big details, your round plans itself, and a rained-off day drags to a new one with everyone told.

A customer's phone on a FullDiary booking page: the shop's logo and address, and services with prices, ready to book

The round is the business

A day of driveways, planned by guesswork

Mobile valeting lives and dies by the round: where the jobs are, what each one takes, and what the weather does to all of it.

Where is the car?

A booking without an address is a message thread before every job, and a round you cannot plan until the night before.

Rain rewrites the diary

One wet morning and half the day needs moving. Rebooking four customers by text is an hour you are not being paid for.

A mini valet in a full valet slot

When every booking is 'a clean', the day cannot be planned. A maintenance wash and a full detail are not the same afternoon.

Try it

Book yourself in, the way your customers will.

Four taps on the phone, and watch the booking land in the diary beside it. That is all your customers see: no app, no account, no password to invent.

The diary

The screen your diary lives on.

The round on your phone: who is next, where, a maps link to the driveway, and a rained-off morning dragged to Thursday with everyone emailed.

Someone running late? Drag their booking to another column or time and drop it. The diary updates and the customer gets the new time by email. (A real screen recording.)

  • Drag a booking to a new time - the emails follow it
  • Draw across an empty space to book a walk-in
  • Done, no-show or cancelled, marked as you go
  • One tap makes it full screen for the tablet by the till

Filled in for mobile valeters on screen one

  • Mini valet, full valet and interior only, each timed and priced, with a deposit on each
  • The address asked on the booking form, with travel time between jobs
  • Photos on the booking page, so the finish sells the service
  • Work done on every visit record, for the next time the car comes round
  • A rebook reminder when the next valet is due

Every one of these is a starting point. Change the prices, the hours or the words on the screen where they live, and the booking page updates as you type.

On the day

  • Rained off? Drag the dayMove a booking to a dry slot with a drag. The customer is emailed and the reminder re-times itself.
  • "On my way", one tapMessage the customer from the job. They see it on their booking page and reply into your inbox.
  • Work done, on fileFill in the visit record from the diary card and it is there the next time the car comes round.
  • A column for every vanEach valeter gets their own column, colour, hours and login.

After

  • The monthly regular, on repeatSet a regular's valet to repeat every four weeks and the diary keeps it topped up.

Messages

"On my way", without the phone number swap

Open the job, press Message, tap a quick reply. The customer sees it on their booking page with an email nudge, and their answer lands in your inbox with an unread count on your phone.

  • Quick replies for on my way, running late and all done
  • Their reply lands in your inbox, live
  • Included on every plan, Free included
The FullDiary inbox: a conversation with a customer, quick replies underneath and the message box
The first step of a mobile valeter's booking page on a phone, with the travel rule under the heading: 0.45 pounds a mile after the first 3 miles, from the business to your address, seen before booking
The last step of the same booking page: a full valet for 80 pounds, and a travel row reading 2.40 pounds for 8.3 miles, paid on the day, credited Distances by Google Maps

Travel charges

Get paid for the drive to every driveway

A customer twenty minutes away costs you fuel and time that one round the corner does not. On Pro, set your own price per mile after any free miles, and FullDiary works out the real driving distance to each address and puts the charge on the booking before the customer confirms.

  • Your rate, your free miles, and the furthest you travel for online bookings
  • On the booking page before they book, and on its own line in their email
  • Change it, take it off or work it out again from the diary
A customer's phone on the booking page's Who with? step: first available, then each person with their photo and a line about them

Their side

Your page, on your customers' phones.

Your name, your services, your prices, in your colours. This is what opens when one of your customers taps the link in your bio or scans your QR card. No app, no account, booked in under a minute.

  • Real times, not requests: slots come from the live diary's actual gaps
  • Nothing to download and no password to invent
  • Confirmation lands by email, with add-to-calendar and a link to move it

FAQs

Questions from mobile valeters, answered straight

What it costs, what your customers see, and how FullDiary fits the way mobile valeters actually work.

Something else on your mind? Ask a human.

Does it collect the customer's address when they book?

Yes. The valeting setup turns on 'ask for the customer's address' and the booking form requires it. The address shows on the appointment, in the confirmation emails and in your calendar entries, with a maps link on the diary card, so the round plans itself. A service's buffer time is your travel time between jobs.

Can I charge for the miles to each job?

Yes, on Pro. Under Your van, Booking rules, switch on Charge for travel and set your own price per mile, any free miles and the furthest you travel. FullDiary works out the real driving distance from where you set off to the customer's address, rounds the charge up to the next 10p and shows it on the booking page before they book. The miles are one way, so set your rate with the drive home in mind.

What happens when rain moves the day?

Drag the booking to its new slot in the diary. The customer gets an email about the move automatically, and any reminder re-times itself. Four reschedules is four drags, not four conversations.

Can customers pick the right valet size?

Yes. Your booking page lists each service with its price and how long it takes, so a full detail books a full detail's worth of your day. Price options per vehicle size sit under one service, each with its own price.

Can I invoice from the booking?

Yes. When a job is finished, one click on the diary card turns it into a draft invoice with the customer and the price already filled in. Invoices and quotes are part of FullDiary, on the same login.

Can a regular have the same slot every month?

Yes. Open their booking in the diary, press repeat, and pick every four weeks. The diary keeps the slot topped up ahead, on every plan including Free.

Is it really free to start?

Yes, and it is not a trial. Twenty bookings a month, with the booking page, the live diary and the QR card included, for as long as you like. No card, nothing expires, and there is never commission on bookings. Pro is 9.99 GBP a month a person, never more than 39.99 GBP, when you outgrow it.

Do my customers need an app?

No. Your booking page is a link. It opens in their browser, they pick a service and a time, and the confirmation lands by email with an add-to-calendar file. Nothing to install on either side, and no password for anyone to forget.
