Open the booking in the diary or the app and take payment. Say how it was paid - cash, card, transfer or other - and check the amount. It starts as the price less any deposit or voucher already paid, and you can change it for a round-down or a tip. The booking then shows paid, the money mark beside it turns green and the activity log says who took it. Not paid after all undoes a payment you recorded by hand.
With Stripe connected and verified, Send a payment link shows a QR code and a link. The customer scans it and pays on their own phone, through your Stripe, and the booking is marked paid by card when they do.
Tap to Pay is in the FullDiary app on an Android phone with NFC, on Android 13 or newer. Choose it on the payment screen, and the customer taps a contactless card or phone on yours: the booking is marked paid by card and they are emailed a receipt. The first time, the app takes you to the Tap to Pay settings to connect Stripe and switch it on, and asks for your place's street, town and postcode. A card that insists on a chip and PIN gets a payment link instead. Tap to Pay is not on iPhone yet.
Card payments go to your own Stripe account, and the fees are Stripe's: FullDiary takes nothing, and none of this depends on your plan. A card payment you take can be given back with Refund on the booking.
