Customers can find your booking page on Google

Your booking page can now turn up on Google when people search for your business by name. They can find it and book straight away, without hunting for your link. It is on for every shop, and you can switch it off.

A barbershop's booking page on a phone: the logo, the address, and the services with prices

FullDiary is the booking system for UK small businesses, with an online booking page, a diary and payments in one place. Until now your booking page was kept off Google, so the only way to reach it was the link you shared. From today it can turn up when people search for you.

Found by name

Plenty of new customers hear about you from a friend and then search for your name. Now your booking page can be one of the results, with your services and prices on it, so they can book there and then. Your classes, passes, gift vouchers and reviews pages can be found too.

Every link helps

The more places link to your page, the sooner Google finds it. Put your link in your Instagram and Facebook bios, on your Google Business Profile and on your own website if you have one.

Rather keep it to your link?

It is on for every shop. If you would rather only the people you send the link to could find your page, open Shop settings, Your booking page, on the website or in the FullDiary app, and switch off Show my booking page on Google. Your link keeps working either way.

Google decides when to list a page. A new page can take a few weeks to show up, and a page you switch off drops out the next time Google looks at it. A customer's own pages, such as their booking, their basket and their gift voucher, are never listed, and neither is a page that is not live yet.

Questions people ask

Do I need to do anything?
No. It is on for every live booking page. Sharing your link in more places helps Google find it sooner.
How long until my page shows on Google?
Google decides. A new page often takes a few weeks to appear, and it shows up most for people who search for your business by name.
Can I keep my booking page off Google?
Yes. Switch off Show my booking page on Google under Shop settings, Your booking page. Your link keeps working for everyone you send it to.
Which plan is it on?
Every plan, Free and Pro.
